About - Chiangmai Elephant Land

Chiangmai Elephant Land was established by husband-and-wife team Toy and Toto in 2017 to provide a happy and healthy life for elephants, while helping to ensure cultural preservation and sustainability for the local hill tribe communities. Located in the lush mountain region of Northern Thailand, adjacent to Doi Inthanon National Park, our elephants are free to roam over many square kilometers in ideal surroundings. Here, they can bathe, relax and forage for the wide variety of foods comprising their natural diet. Now those elephants who had worked hard for many years have time to relax and receive good care.
