Day 1
12.00-12.30 pm. Pick-up from your hotel.
Following pickup from your accommodations in Chiang Mai City, the drive to the elephant sanctuary will take about 1.5 h. On the way we will take a break at a local market, before driving into the mountains of Northern Thailand. On arrival at a local hill tribe village, we will transfer to an off-road vehicle for the final leg of the journey to the jungle sanctuary (about 5 km). Here you will change into traditional elephant care (mahout) uniforms.
.
.
Our guides will then tell you a little about the elephants´ habitat and history before introducing you to the animals.

.
Meet our our babies elephants. Enjoy getting to know each other by playing, feeding banana and sugar cane to the elephants, their very favorite treat! Please feel free to take lots of selfies!
We will then take the elephants for a walk with their mahouts, where you can enjoy observing their natural herd behaviors such as foraging, communicating, rubbing on trees, and relaxing deep in the jungle.
.
The walk (about 30 minutes depending on the weather) can include forests, steep jungle terrain, as well as the terraced rice paddy fields and beautiful scenery of the Karen hill tribe lands.
.
.
.
Take a short walk along a nearby stream to our own private beautiful waterfall where we can cool off in the refreshing mountain spring water.
.
.
.
As the sun sets you will be served a traditional dinner and fall as sleep in the peaceful, quite jungle.

Day 2
