CHIANGMAI ADVENTURE
A full day of elephant care, trekking, and nature immersion
Spend a full day at Chiang Mai Elephant Land, getting up close with rescued elephants while exploring Northern Thailand’s forests, rice terraces, and hill tribe lands. This tour is perfect for anyone looking for an ethical and immersive experience, combining elephant interaction, trekking, a waterfall visit, and cultural insight into the Karen hill tribe.
Your day begins with hotel pickup at 08:00–08:30, followed by a scenic 1.5-hour drive to the sanctuary, with a short break at a local market along the way. Upon arriving at a hill tribe village, you’ll transfer to an off-road vehicle for the final 5 km journey to the jungle sanctuary and change into traditional elephant care uniforms.
Meet the elephants and enjoy feeding, playing, and taking photos with them. Then walk with the elephants alongside their mahouts, observing natural herd behaviors such as foraging, communicating, rubbing on trees, and relaxing deep in the jungle.
The walk spans forests, terraced rice paddies, and stunning hill tribe landscapes. Around 13:30, enjoy a delicious packed lunch at a suitable point along the trail. Continue to a beautiful mountain spring waterfall for a refreshing swim.
After lunch and waterfall time, there’s additional opportunity to spend time with the elephants, take photos, and enjoy the sanctuary’s peaceful atmosphere. Finally, return to your accommodations in Chiang Mai, arriving around 18:00–18:30.
