CHIANGMAI ADVENTURE

Half Day Visit to Elephant Land

Experience rescued elephants up close in a peaceful jungle sanctuary

About This Tour

Spend a few unforgettable hours at Chiang Mai Elephant Land, where you can feed and interact with rescued baby elephants, walk alongside them in a peaceful jungle, and learn about their care and conservation. This half-day tour is perfect for families, couples, or anyone wanting an ethical, immersive elephant experience.

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive of approximately two hours from Chiang Mai, passing through rice fields, Karen hill tribe villages, and remote jungle. The last 5 km is only accessible by off-road vehicle, adding a sense of excitement as you approach our hidden sanctuary.

On arrival, you’ll change into traditional Karen hill tribe clothing and learn about the elephants’ habitat, history, and the sanctuary’s mission. Then it’s time to meet the baby elephants! Feed them bananas and sugar cane—their favorite treats—and take plenty of photos as you get to know these gentle giants.

After feeding, walk alongside the elephants with their mahouts, observing their natural behaviors like foraging, communicating, rubbing on trees, and relaxing in the lush forest. The tour concludes with a delicious lunch (for the morning trip) or dinner (for the afternoon trip) at the elephant camp before returning to Chiang Mai.
